What is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant?

A Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC) is a registered nurse who has completed a
specialized training program, passed a national exam, and become certified to work as
a legal nurse consultant.  A CLNC can serve in a variety of settings such as law firms,
long term care facilities, risk management departments, insurance companies, and any
company who may ever deal with a workers' compensation case.  Cases that can be
consulted on include medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, personal injury, toxic
tort, product liability, and general negligence.
